Hands-on AMOS for Quantitative Data Analysis in Educational Research
Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) and Structural Equation Modeling (SEM)

November 3, 2026
CELL, MUET Jamshoro

Workshop Description

This hands-on workshop is designed to equip educational researchers with practical skills in using AMOS for advanced quantitative data analysis. Participants will learn how to conduct Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) and apply Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) to examine relationships among latent variables.

Through guided demonstrations and real-data applications, participants will gain experience in data preparation, model specification, model fit evaluation, hypothesis testing, and interpretation of AMOS outputs. The workshop is particularly suitable for MPhil and PhD scholars, early-career researchers, and faculty members seeking to strengthen their quantitative research and data analysis competencies.

Who Should Attend?

MPhil & PhD Scholars Early-Career Researchers Faculty Members

Learning Outcomes

  • Conduct Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) using AMOS.
  • Interpret model-fit indices and AMOS output.
  • Develop and test Structural Equation Models (SEM).
  • Report CFA and SEM results in theses and research articles according to academic standards.
