"Communicate, Connect, and Create Change"

November 4–5, 2026
CELL, MUET Jamshoro

About the Workshops

The Organizing Committee of the 1st International Conference on Eco-Linguistics & Sustainability, hosted by the Centre of English Language and Linguistics, Mehran University of Engineering and Technology (MUET), Jamshoro, invites proposals for interactive conference workshops.

These workshops examine language as a site where researchers, academics, and practitioners work at the intersection of linguistics, ecology, culture, and sustainability. Workshops are encouraged to draw on the language & ecology relationship, cultural narratives, and related themes of the conference.

The workshops aim to create collaborative spaces where scholars, educators, researchers, students, and practitioners can acquire practical research and pedagogical skills, and develop interdisciplinary networks oriented towards social and environmental change.

Workshops should provide opportunities for active participation rather than traditional conference presentations, encouraging discussion, collaboration, and capacity building.
